Half Birthday Present

Brady is 6 months old now and he is cutting his first tooth! It reared its ugly head this week and is currently breaking through the skin. He has been a bit fussy and has refused to eat some over the past few days. It amazes me how these things tend to happen AFTER you take him to the doctor. He had his 6 month check up and shots last Thursday. He is still in the 90th percentile for height, 70th for weight, and 30th for head. He did well with his shots- just a little crying. He slept a lot Friday so I suspect that is when the tooth really started pushing through. So now Brady is a half year old- we aren't celebrating half year birthdays, but it was fun to say this one time. He is sitting up on his own for the most part although he still falls over from time to time. Like when the doctor thought he was sitting fine and he fell over and hit the mirror (not hard)- that was funny! We got him a new toy which you will see in the pictures and he loves it. He looks in the mirror at himself and loves to make music with it. Here are a few videos. One shows just how close he may be to crawling (childproofing here we come). The other shows the girls playing in the yard while we had a big beautiful snow (for SC anyways). We got about 3-4 inches of snow. Steve- You MISSED it! It was great to be able to see Brady experience the cold snow on his hands and face. What a great half birthday present!
